The chart shows, for all released software products and versions, the
pre-requisite software levels and co-requisite hardware upgrades.

HOW TO READ THIS CHART:

Find the item you want to check, and look DOWN along the connected
lines on the chart to find what is required before installing the
item.

EXPLANATION:

    1. LAYERED SOFTWARE products are enclosed in brackets "[  ]".
    These optional items require separate tapes and installation.
    STANDARD FEATURES included in the pre-requisite O/S release(s)
    are listed without brackets.
	
    2. Software items, and boxes containing groups of software, point
    with arrows "\/" to the valid MINIMUM rev levels of operating 
    system or other layered products on which they can be loaded.
    
    3. O/S RELEASES (Lisp, and Unix) are in boxes.
	
    4. Software items point to co-requisite HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS with
    small arrows ">>>". 
    
    5. HARDWARE items are enclosed in braces "{  }".
    
    6. Notes are marked by asterisks "**".

EXPLANATION: Lisp 102.187 can be installed either by loading 2.0
patches or by loading TCP version 1.4.  TCP 1.4 is loaded on 2.0 patch
level 102.117 (OR ABOVE!); TCP 1.5 must be loaded in a TCP 1.4 band.
An Excelan controller is always co-requisite with TCP software.
