Running Microcode 1600 Something got seriously munged in my Unix Streams window. I was 'cat'ing a file which was messed up -- no newlines in it at all. I had the screen split with System-U at top, Editor at bottom. Suddenly the screen went blank white, then the Lambda crashed. These were the PC's. WHY showed 27242 to 27221 followed by 27206 and on down. When I warm-booted and brought up a new Unix window, the same thing happened during the login prompt! I debugged the offending process, and couldn't mail a bug report (function NIL undefined?). The routine at the top of the stack just said "scheduler". The bottom routine was a UNIX:UNIX-STREAM method :SETUP-NEXT-INPUT-BUFFER. -kmc At PC=#o027242 machine is at MAP-MULTIBUS At PC=#o027241 machine is at (PGF-MM0 + 13) At PC=#o027221 machine is at (PGF-MAP-MISS + 3) At PC=#o027206 machine is at (ADVANCE-SECOND-LEVEL-MAP-REUSE-POINTER + 2) At PC=#o027205 machine is at (ADVANCE-SECOND-LEVEL-MAP-REUSE-POINTER + 1)
