290-628 IBM 4700 PERSONAL COMPUTER APPLICATION SERVICES VERSION 2.1
       IBM Personal Computer Application Services (PCAS) Version 2.1
has been enhanced to provide the capability for host or 4700 general
purpose applications to direct a 3287 printer data stream to a
PC-attached printer supporting the Personal Printer Data Stream
(PPDS); the ability for multiple PCs in a branch office to share a
single PC-attached printer; and the flexibility of DOS applications
to share read/write DOS datasets which are physically located on the
4700 fixed disk.  In addition, PCAS Version 2.1 can now be used with
the Consumer Transaction Definition, Runtime, and Platform program
thereby expanding branch automation solutions for 4700 customers.
