Author: Richard Nelson, University of California, Irvine, CA

Operating System: RSTS/E V6B

Source Language: BASIC-PLUS, Memory Required: 5K, Other Software Required: RT-11 Emulator

Abstract: DISASM.BAS is a BASIC-PLUS program designed to disassemble MACRO files. It is principally to be used on ".SAV" files and has some excellent applications:

  1. Use it to see if a ".SAV file has been corrupted
  2. Use it to disassemble MACRO ".SAV" files not produced by link
  3. Use it to see what memory locations are being used in a particular program
  4. Use it to track down bugs which may exist in the system, caused by MACRO programs (or use it to track down bugs generally).

Output can be to the terminal ("KB:") or to a file. Options the user can specify are: swap bytes, starting location, and words to skip.

Note: Output is not an exact reproduction of the MACRO source.
